From the revered slopes of Montforte d'Alba's Bussia Soprana Cru, Tre Pile Barolo Bussia DOCG is the embodiment of Nebbiolo's power and elegance.
Meticulously grown on clay-marl soils at 400 meters above sea-level, the Ghisolfi family's 100% Nebbiolo grapes hand-harvested and vinified traditionally- fermented and macerated in steel for 15-20 days, then matured 18 months in Slavonian barrels and finished in steel before bottling - resulting in a wine of vibrant ruby color with orange hues and refined tannins.
Rich yet graceful, this Barolo showcases ethereal and complex aromas, featuring dried cherry, sweet spices, vanilla and a hint of minerality. On the palate, it is dry and full-bodied with firm yet elegant tannins, and flavors of red berries, licorice and subtle oak nuances - all leading to a long, persistent finish.
Tre Pile Barolo Bussia DOCG has been critically acclaimed across recent vintages. It is a classic exrpession of Piedmonte's noblest Nebbiolo, a wine that invites patience, promises evolution and definitely rewards every glass with elegance, power, and undeniable charm.
