In the heart of the UNESCO-protected Val d' Orcia, where sun-drenched hills and ancient cypress trees shape one of the most iconic landscapes in Italy, La Nascosta produces some of Tuscany's most soulful wines.
Born from a legacy of vision, passion, and respect for the land, this boutique winery of 52 hectares crafts exceptional organic wines, and is a story of revival, artistry, and timeless Tuscan spirit. La Nascosta was founded by legend winemaker Antonio Mastrojanni, a name well known in Italian wine circles as one of the early pioneers who helped elevate the reputation of Brunello di Montalcino. With La Nascosta ("the Hidden One" in Italian), Antonio Mastrojanni brought the same pioneering spirit to the untouched land of Val d'Orcia, recognizing its potential for producing world-class wines with elegance and identity. His vision was to craft expressive, terroir-driven wines using organic practices and minimal intervention.
Today, the winery is run by Antonio Mastrojanni's children, who have transformed the estate into a modern expression of Tuscan excellence. With deep roots in both tradition and innovation, they continue Antonio Mastrojanni's legacy with a meticulous hands-on approach to every detail from the vineyard to the bottle.
From their velvety Sangiovese to vibrant blends of both local and international grapes, La Nascosta offers a portfolio of red and white wines that capture the essence of modern Tuscan winemaking.
