Located on a wildly beautiful hilltop in Neive, a historic village in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, Azienda Punset is a dynamic winery under the dedicated and thought-provoking care of Marina Marcarino. Certified Bio/Organic in 1987 (the regions first certification), and adhering to the discipline of Masanobu Fukuoka, Marina Marcarino is the loudest of voices in the effort to protect her native land and its fruits from harmful and careless agriculture. Marina is credited with organizing the Vintesa Society whose goal is to bring like-minded Bio/Organic producers together to combine their buying power and share their ideals and vision
Marina’s sixteen carefully tended hectares rest high above the village and produce classically styled offerings of Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo Langhe and Barbaresco.
Rich and fruity on the nose displaying floral notes and white fruit flavors of banana and pear. This fruity sensation transitions in the mouth to deeper notes of honey, butter and a light acidity that swiftly cleanses the palate. Well structured with good balance.
Note: NE? is probably the most popular Piedmontese slang word and it is known everywhere. It is used to give a positive emphasis to a conversation.
